According to Tomasz Jarosz, border guard from the Carpathian Border Guard Division, border guards from the Zakopane station apprehended a Mercedes for examination in the city of Chyżne with Ukrainian registration plates. This activity was seen by his pal, who likewise came to the Border Guard Station in Zakopane and was questioned as a witness in this case.
