The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are requesting witnesses to a deadly hit and run that happened on the Alaska Highway near Watson Lake, Yukon.
On Saturday, August 15 th, at roughly 3: 30 p.m., a driver struck a pedestrian near the junction of the Alaska Highway and the South Klondike Highway. The driver repelled from the scene and has yet to be recognized. The victim was noticable dead at the scene.
The RCMP are asking anybody who might have seen the event or has any details about the driver included to get in touch with the regional detachment at (867) 667-5555
