Such a view is hard to miss! The new Peugeot 408 was caught undisguised in France. Although the brand presented official images of the model in June, thanks to spy shots from cochepias.net, we can see what the 408 looks like live, without the interference of computer graphics.
The new Peugeot 408 will soon add to the lion family. The car with a slim silhouette adorned with a sloping roofline and slightly raised suspension is classified by the brand as the top of the C segment. The 408 is based on the same EMP2 platform that the 308 rests on. Motors are common, but with few exceptions. In the Peugeot 408 we will not find a diesel or petrol engine 110 hp.
The powertrain range consists of two plug-in hybrids with 180 and 225 hp and a 1.2 petrol unit that produces 130 hp. Peugeot is also planning a 100% electric version.

Although the new Peugeot 408 is not yet on sale, a few are already driving the French roads without hiding anything. Perhaps the brand is still doing final tests before its market launch. Users of the cochepias.net forum have posted photos of the 408 in gray, white and red, and not in the Blue Obsession varnish seen on the manufacturer’s promotional package.
New Peugeot 408 dimensions of 4,687 mm and the wheelbase of the car is 2,787 mm.
How will it convince customers? The French brand focuses mainly on design and detailed materials. The manufacturer maintained, among others with LED matrix lights, 20-inch wheels and the latest generation i-Cockpit with a 10-inch touch screen and digital clocks that have a 3D effect on the GT version.
The 408 will be produced by the Mulhouse, France factory, with a market launch planned for early 2023.
