Until now, listening to music in the car often meant using a radio station or songs from a mobile phone or USB flash drive. Now that will change with the Amazon Music service introduced by Renault for its latest models.
The Amazon Music app is available for download via My Renault Mobile2. With Amazon Music, Prime customers have access to 2 million songs ad-free and there are no additional subscription costs. For an additional fee, you can also take advantage of the premium Amazon Music Unlimited service, which gives you access to more than 90 million songs and the latest releases.

Amazon and Renault earn revenue from music subscriptions. The producer did not disclose the terms of his contract with the content provider, but this is the first in a series of applications that will be released on the same basis. The aim is to increase the car’s performance for customers, but also to expand the revenue stream that comes into Renault after the sale of the car. The company wants to offer as many digital subscription services as possible to help change the business model: from a car distributor to a digital content provider.
