This Lamborghini Miura has only 52,143 kilometers on the clock. It will now be auctioned off to the highest bidder. He can achieve a million results.
The French auction house Artcurial is auctioning a Lamborghini Miura P 400 S in Paris on October 16, which has had one owner for more than 50 years. The sports car from 1969 shows 52,143 kilometers covered by the original engine. The estimated price is between 900,000 and 1,400,000 euros.
The third person Miura S
Unfortunately, the color is no longer original. Chassis number 3997 was delivered to the first owner, an Italian businessman, in “Miura White” with blue leather interior. When the second owner sold the car in 1974, it was painted yellow with a green interior. He still has the interior today. However, the French third-party owner painted the Miura red after buying it – that’s how it should be for an Italian sports car, explained Artcurial. In 48 years, the now 87-year-old Frenchman drove less than 10,000 kilometers. Various invoices from a workshop near his place of residence in Toulouse document the regular maintenance of the twelve-cylinder, which, according to the description, starts immediately and runs on all cylinders.
From the student’s first possession
The daughter of Iranian parents had to take a Lamborghini Miura to California to study. He was supposed to sell the car there and use the proceeds to finance his studies. That is the idea of parents. Binti also carefully placed an ad, but did not sell the car. He ran it for two years.
After an accident in which the bodywork was damaged to the extent of the right headlight, he sold the Miura to a workshop where the car was also serviced. The owner of the workshop intended to repair the damage and ordered parts from Lamborghini in 1977. For some reason, however, the planned repair did not take place and the sports car remained in the warehouse with new parts.
It wasn’t until about four decades later that an enthusiast bought a Miura. It even stood on the original Pirelli Cinturato CN 73, size GR 70 VR 15. The odometer now reads less than 16,000 miles (about 25,000 km). He decided not to completely restore the car and to preserve it as much as possible.
Estimated price: 1.5 million euros

The Miura was released in gray-white in 1971. The original blue leather interior is retained. The estimated price was equal to 1.5 to 1.9 million euros. The Miura was sold on August 14, 2021 in Monterey, California for $2.095 million, which was equivalent to €1.78 million at the time.
Miura P400 S
Lamborghini had developed the Miura presented in Turin in 1965. From 1971, the later models of the Series II S had a more powerful V12 engine with 370 hp instead of 350 hp and some technical improvements. The frame was strengthened, the cooling was improved and the brake system received ventilation discs. About 140 Miura S were built. Production of the Miura ended in 1973 after 474 examples. Its successor is the Countach.

Conclusion
Low mileage doesn’t seem too rare with a Lamborghini Miura. The stories associated with these cars are often more interesting than the mileage.
