New Ford remembers 1.5 million cars over windscreen wiper, brake hose pipe problems

Ford Motor Company revealed Tuesday that it is remembering roughly 1.5 million lorries due to problems with the windscreen wipers and brake hose pipes.

The carmaker stated the recall was started after finding that the cars, which are primarily from the design years 2013 to 2018, have a flaw in the windscreen wiper motor, along with a flaw in the brake tubes.

The concern with the wiper motor is that it can trigger periodic operation of the wipers, or, sometimes, no operation at all. If the wipers stop working, the car manufacturer stated, motorists might not have the ability to clear the windscreen in damp or snowy conditions.

The concern with the brake hose pipes is that they can establish fractures, which Ford stated might result in brake fluid leakages, increasing the threat of a crash.

” We are taking this action since we wish to make sure the security of our clients,” stated Joe Hinrichs, Ford’s president of international operations. “We excuse any hassle this might trigger our clients, and we are working to make this right.”

To resolve the problem, Ford stated it will change the wiper motor, and examine and change the brake hose pipes, if required, at no charge to clients. Ford stated the recall ought to start in early April.
