The new Citroen C3 has recently started appearing in India, but this is not the end of the first impressions of this brand for this market. The version known in the media as “C3 Plus”, a 7-seater model that will face, among others, And Renault Triber.
The new Citroen C3 Plus should have a style associated with an SUV and a spacious, classic interior that can accommodate up to 7 people on board. This segment is popular in India, so after the debut of the C5 Aircross and the new C3, the French brand will try to face rivals such as Renault Triber and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The name of the model is not yet known, perhaps Citroën will use the Aircross name known from the European market or add the “Plus” of the media to emphasize the space for more passengers.

Citroën it will use the 10.1-inch touchscreen in the cabin that powers the C3, and will move the digital instrument cluster from the city car. Drives will also be the same. The C3 Aircross will be powered by a 1.2 liter 81hp petrol engine with 115Nm of torque and a 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 108hp and 190Nm. The first part has a 5-speed manual gearbox, the second is connected to a 6-speed gearbox.
In addition to the launch of the 7-seater version, Citroën will also present an electric version of the C3.
