MAJORCA, SPAIN: Boyzone member Stephen Gately passed away at the age of 33 on October 10, 2009, leaving his bandmates grieving. The vocalist, who had an undiagnosed heart disease, breathed his last at his vacation house in Mallorca. In a current interview with Sky News, bandmate Ronan Keating remembered the group’s touching goodbye to Gately.

As news of his death spread, Boyzone band members Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham rapidly flew to the Spanish island to take “their bro” house. The 4 males brought Gately’s casket on its last journey to his funeral service on an unfortunate early morning when the whole working class of Dublin’s North Strand, where Gately matured, were currently out in their gardens by 9 o’clock.

The church was embellished with Gately’s preferred flower, flowers, in every aisle, and the walls were covered with well-known individuals’s pictures from throughout his life. Amongst the presents put at the altar by their liked ones was a Mickey Mouse teddy bear, representing his enthusiasm for Disney and “faith in fairy tales.” Others left behind a moisturizer to reveal her love of cosmetics and a microphone to show her voice.

Condolences have actually been sent out by numerous stars consisting of George Michael, David and Victoria Beckham, Take That, U2, Simon Cowell, Robbie Williams, Cheryl Cole, Sharon Osborne and Colin Farrell. Keating sang “Happiness” and swore to finish the dream unique Gately was dealing with, “The Tree of Seasons,” prior to the band took Gately’s casket and accompanied him from the church to a personal tomb at Glasnevin Cemetery. And as a last act of praise, it is exposed that the band invested the previous night camping on the flooring of St Laurence O’Toole’s Catholic Church to keep Stephen’s communion.

The band members made the brave choice since his troubled mom was fretted that her child “didn’t wish to be alone”. They spread out sleeping bags on the ground and seen. “We sobbed and chuckled and heard him inform us jokes and heard him address …” Keating informed Sky News, explaining the experience as “gorgeous and incredible.”

The artists came out of the church around 6 in the early morning and offered their sleeping bags to the fans who were sleeping outdoors. They remembered their dear pal at a psychological supper with supervisor Louis Walsh, Westlife, and David Furnish after an uncomfortable last farewell. All liked ones collected after the service at the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin to share their memories of Gately, consume old champagne and sing late into the night.
