Gerhard Berger was welcomed to supper at the Nürburgring the eve his 63 rd birthday. An amusing discussion occurred.
A night with the funny Gerhard Berger at the Nürburgring, coincidentally prior to his birthday (today) of 63 years: There is no absence of great humor and humor. And naturally Formula 1 is a regular subject for the ten-time GP winner.
So the following discussion followed: Question to Gerhard: “What do you believe your future son-in-law (we were discussing Daniel Ricciardo, who is really thinking about Berger’s child Heidi) will do?”
Berger then: “Which one?” I will have numerous in-laws in the future.”
” Yes, Dany.”
” He’s driving a Ferrari next year.”

” Well, Red Bull Ferrari in DTM, obviously, hahaha.”
You can see Berger is unwinded about it. And he still has actually a lot prepared for the DTM. Even crackers like Ricciardo or Sebastian Vettel most likely will not reveal themselves as complete strangers so rapidly.
And another major declaration from the Tyrolean: “Vettel? I have not been in touch with Sebastian because he revealed his retirement from F1 at the end of the season. He’ll understand what he’s going to do.”
