An Arco guy was eliminated in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 93 on Wednesday early morning, according to the Idaho State Police.

At around 8: 40 a.m., 39- year-old Forrest F. Stearns was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche southbound on U.S. 93 when he crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2018 Freightliner truck, run by 62- year-old Kenneth M. Cook of Basin, Wyoming.

Stearns was noticable dead at the scene. Cook was transferred by air ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for treatment.
