The field for the brand-new season in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is gradually establishing. The next group to reveal its driver line-up for “season 9” was Maserati MSG Racing, previously Venturi, which will begin with Edoardo Mortarta and Maximilian Günther. Mortara was currently utilizing Venturi, Günther originates from the Nissan factory group and takes the location initially meant for Nyck de Vries, prior to our team-mate changes to Formula 1.

With the Maserati MSG Racing group, the Italian cars brand name go back to global motorsport, where, apart from the brand name’s essential cup activities, it was last utilized by the huge MC12 in the FIA GT1 period. In the Formula E, Maserati mostly includes “badge engineering”, due to the fact that the powertrain originates from DS, which, like Maserati, comes from the Stellantis group.
